Children’s Needs Grants

The LMSVEF has been able to provide $3,575 to assist school district families with eyeglasses, food, gas, and clothing so far in the 2022-23 school year. This is possible through the generous donations we receive. Your support is appreciated!

California Young Reader Medal Books

LMSVEF continues support for the California Young Reader Medal program by donating to our school libraries. Students, teachers and librarians look forward to the CYRM book nominees and voting process each year. We are thrilled to support this program.

Ed Foundation Helps All 21 District Schools with $500 Donation

The Educational Foundation has given each of the 21 district principals a  $500 Visa card. The funds can be used at the principals discretion to meet a variety of needs. Most principals have opted to help students and families with emergency needs such as groceries and clothing. As the holidays approach, the additional funds will help with families who may be struggling to make ends meet.

This is the second round of $500 Visa cards the Ed Foundation has presented to principals.
