The Educational Foundation has given each of the 21 district principals a $500 Visa card. The funds can be used at the principals discretion to meet a variety of needs. Most principals have opted to help students and families with emergency needs such as groceries and clothing. As the holidays approach, the additional funds will help with families who may be struggling to make ends meet.
This is the second round of $500 Visa cards the Ed Foundation has presented to principals.
